Nicki Minaj Looks Forward To Pocket $12 million in American Idol One Year Deal

Wow! That's just too cool! For sitting in a chair
behind a microphone, attending photo shoots,
video recording sessions and passing
'jugement', for one year, one person will just
pocket over N1 billion? Please, I want to be an
'Idol' Judge as well. Lol.
According to the Associated Press, a person in
the music industry with knowledge of the deal
between the producers of American Idol and
Nicki Minaj revealed to them on Sunday that
Minaj is getting $12 million for a one-year deal
on the hit Fox singing series. The person spoke
on condition of anonymity because they were
not authorized to publicly discuss the deal.
A representative for Urban wouldn't disclose
the singer's compensation for "Idol." Now,
that's relatively small compared to Nick
Cannon's wife, Mariah Carey who is reportedly
going to earn close to $18million for a one-year
contract with a renewal option.
