Adenuga Bags GCON Award

The chairman of Globacom Limited and
businessman extraordinaire, Dr Mike Adenuga, is
the only Nigerian to be conferred with the Grand
Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON)
honour this year.
Eleven others bagged the Commander of the Order
of the Niger (CON) award; 25 bagged the Order of
Federal Republic (OFR); 38 bagged the Officer of
the Order of the Niger (OON); 37 bagged the
Member of the Federal Republic (MFR) and 12
bagged the Member of the Order of the Niger
(MON).
Those to be honoured include retired Justice
Kayode Esho; former governors of Lagos and
Bauchi states, Brigadier-General Mobolaji Johnson
and Alhaji Ahmed Muazu.
Others are, governors of Benue, Delta, Ebonyi,
Taraba, Gabriel Suswam, Emmanuel Uduaghan,
Martin Elechi and Danbaba Suntai.
Others are Oba Ade-simbo Kiladejo, the Ose-mawe
of Ondo Kingdom; Chief Gabriel Igbinedion; Justice
Nurudeen Adekola; Dr Tony Elumelu; Dr Cos-mas
Maduka; Mrs Mulikat Akande; Cletus Ibeto; Chief
Wole Olanipekun and Bishop Michael Okonkwo.
